The day cruise is amazing with awesome snorkeling in a few spots and then they park the boat is in this one area that’s a sand bar and the water is between 4 to 6 feet deep and you can just wade around and enjoy the water, drink in hand. So much fun and the crew was awesome. They take care of everything for you and are beyond friendly. Top notch service and loads of fun. Don’t miss this awesome sailing boat experience! Money well spent and we met the nicest people too. Highly recommend for a good time.

This was our second trip with Cozumel Sailing and as with the first trip, it did not disappoint: we had a party of six and it was the most beautiful relaxing trip with great food and beverages. Our Captain took us to three different spots to enjoy snorkeling; ..I would highly recommend this trip to anyone that visits Cozumel. Four of our party of 6 had not been before and we kept telling them how wonderful it was, they were skeptical since we built it up so much but agreed afterward that the hype was well deserved! Perfect, private trip for a family of 10...really good folks as owners, knowledgeable and VERY trustworthy crew, safe boat and captain, delicious food, snorkeling spot was AMAZING (best to bring your own gear though, especially comfortable life jackets for younger kids). Great sailing experience, quiet and surreal at times. Ask about the private beach experience to have realistic expectations. I would rate them a 9 out 10 as their website info and contact processes could use a little improvement but they are also on "island time"... and that's great too.

My husband and I traveled with our (3) 20 something year old kids and my 79 year old mother. We rented the 40FT-CATAMARAN and was an amazing choice for our group. They were open to whatever we wanted to do, and we wanted to snorkel they took us to beautiful reefs, and we saw a little of everything turtles, sharks, and barracudas. Our crew Luis, Ricardo, and Donny were the best! They were so attentive and treated us like royalty. We had beer, wine, cocktails, and food galore, the ceviche was so fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to book them again when we return to Cozumel.

Great outfit! I coordinated with Nelly prior to our trip, and she set everything up for us. We had the boat for 8 hours and spent some time snorkeling, on private beaches, and cruising. Then the crew took us to the shallow/calm area, blew up a huge sunning mat, and turned on the music. We had drinks and lunch there and just lounged and swam. The food was the best we had all week, fresh and beautiful presentation. Captain and crew were on point! Thanks for the great day!

A group of 7 of us went out for 8 hrs on the 40FT Sea Ray for snorkeling and beach cruise. This trip was by far the BEST boat trip we have been on, and we come to Cozumel a lot. For our cruise ship passengers, Cozumel is the next stop after Mahahual, the Costa Maya. You can rent a catamaran charter boat in Cozumel with us and go explore the Island. We offer private snorkeling tours and public day sailing charter in Cozumel. Catamaran rentals start at $1800 USD for 4 hours of luxury sailing in Cozumel. 

We depart out of the Marina Fonator which is located about 10  to 15 min south of the cruise stop locations. 

 F ROM PLAYA DEL CARMEN VIA FERRY TO THE ISLAND 

 From Playa Del Carmen you must take the 8:00 am ferry to Cozumel. They leave on the hour. The fare varies but it is about $400 pesos mxn round trip. You can find ferry information: ULTRAMAR  . At arrival you will take a taxi to the meet up point of the boat you choose. 

We provide directions and all arrival information with your  sailing confirmation data.

What kind of boats do you use?

We own 3 luxury catamarans! A beautiful 41 ft voyage “Starshine”, and two amazing lagoon’s: 41 ft “Moonshine” and a 44 ft “Sunshine”.

Is there shade on the boat?

Yes, both of our catamarans have a cover which offers a shaded area during the tour, and also you can sit inside (totally shaded).

What do we need to bring?

Besides of the best attitude to have a great day on the water, we recommend to bring towel, hat and biodegradable sunscreen.

What happens in case of bad weather?

If the port closes due to bad weather, we can change the departure to another day and, if this is not possible due to your vacation ending or no other availability, we will be more than happy to give you a full refund. In the case of cloudy weather and/or light rain there’s no reason for cancellation, and all cancellations are primarily decided by our captains and the port captain of the marina.

Brief History about Cozumel •

Cozumel is an island in the Caribbean Sea off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, opposite Cozumel, and close to the Yucatán Channel. The economy of Cozumel is based on tourism. There are a number of visitors to the island's balnearios, scuba diving, and snorkeling. The main town on the island is San Miguel de Cozumel. The islands belong to Cozumel Municipality of the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. The island is located in the Caribbean Sea along the eastern side of the Yucatan Peninsula about 82 km south of Cancún and 19 km from the mainland. The island is about 48 km long and 16 km wide. With a total area of 477.961 km2 (184.542 sq mi), it is Mexico's largest Caribbean island, largest permanently inhabited island, and Mexico's third-largest island, following Tiburón Island and Isla Ángel de la Guarda. The island is covered with mangrove forest which has many endemic animal species. Cozumel is a flat island based on limestone, resulting in karst topography. The highest natural point on the island is less than 15 m above sea level. The cenotes are deep water filled sinkholes formed by water percolating through the soft limestone soil during thousands of years. Cozumel's cenotes are restricted to qualified cave divers with appropriate credentials.

If your ship docks at Punta Langosta, you’re already right downtown. Below are some suggested itineraries for exploring Cozumel on your own. We've divided these up into two sIf your ship arrives early enough to beat the crowds, whip out to the taxi stand and head for this beautiful park. Admission is $10/person but we think it's worth it--a lovely way to spend the day. There's a protected lagoon that's perfect for young children. The snorkeling is usually not as good here as at some nearby spots. But it's still worth it for the view, the ambience and the nice facilities.        Get to Chankannab National Park as early as possible. Cozumel BOATING INFORMATION

Nice day snorkeling with my family of 6. The waters were calm And only 6 ft deep but the marine life was amazing. Even caught some lobster.

Great day fishing the flats. Caught Permit, Barracuda and huge Tarpon. Captain and boat were great and made for a great day!

Amazing trip deep sea fishing. We went about 20 miles offshore and found a weed patch were we caught tons of Mahi! Will do it again soon.

2025 Member Cruise to the Western Caribbean

Embark on the 2025 Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise to the Western Caribbean! This 5-night, round-trip Disney Cruise Line sailing departs from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on August 2, 2025, charting a course for family fun in dazzling tropical destinations—plus a first-ever Member Cruise visit to Cozumel.

Dedicated Support for Member Cruise Bookings

Member Services will be open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time on April 13, 2024 to book reservations for the 2025 Member Cruise exclusively —as well as to assist with any Resort arrivals occurring within 5 days of the April 13 date. Due to the popularity of the Member Cruise, you may experience longer-than-usual wait times.

Member Services will reopen with normal operations at 9:00 AM Eastern Time on Sunday, April 14 to support all Membership requests.

Simplify Your Booking Phone Call

We have adjusted this Member Cruise Booking Day process to improve our ability to quickly secure your stateroom and collect payment during your initial inbound call. To make your booking phone call go smoothly, please have the following information on hand about yourself and each person sailing with your party, including:

• Member ID Number
• First, second and third stateroom category choices, as popular options sell out quickly for this event
• Special dietary needs
• Special medical needs
• Castaway Club Number (provided to repeat cruisers by Disney Cruise Line)

For each person sailing on the Member Cruise, please have the following information ready:

• Legal name and middle initial, spelled as it appears in print on appropriate citizenship documentation
• Physical home address (no P.O. boxes)
• Home telephone number
• Date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
• Citizenship/nationality

• Member Services will collect your payment at the time of booking; please have your payment method prepared.
• Booking requests will not be accepted by fax, email, live chat or Member Online Booking—or in person at the Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge at EPCOT or the Disney Vacation Club Star View Station – a Member Lounge at Disneyland Park. • Additional fees may apply for recreational activities and Port Adventures.
• Due to the unique nature of this special event, Disney Vacation Club has waived the policy of requiring at least one passenger to sail using Reservation Points for this Member Cruise voyage. If Members would like to pay by using both cash and Reservation Points, individual passengers must be paid for by using all cash or all Reservation Points.
• Disney Vacation Club will waive the initial transaction fee associated with booking your Disney Cruise Line reservation for this Member Cruise voyage.
• Disney Vacation Club will accept the following methods of payment for Members not using Reservation Points to book the cruise: Disney Gift Card, JCB, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. If paying by credit card, please have the credit card number, expiration date and the name that appears on the card available. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• For the safety of our Guests, women who have entered their 24th week of pregnancy as of the embarkation date or who will enter their 24th week of pregnancy during the cruise will be refused passage due to safety concerns. Neither a physician's medical statement nor a waiver of liability will be able to override the policy. Disney Cruise Line and Disney Vacation Club cannot be held responsible or liable for any complications relating to pregnancy at any stage.
• Disney Cruise Line policy prohibits infants less than 6 months of age on the date of embarkation to travel.
• Effective March 21, 2011, Members who do not purchase their ownership interests directly from Disney will not be able to use those Vacation Points to make reservations for the Member Cruise. If a Member wishes to pay entirely in cash, they must still own at least one Contract with ownership interests purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, LLC. Effective June 3, 2021, to obtain a Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card, Members must accumulate a total of at least 150 Vacation Points purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, LLC.
• Members may book a maximum of 4 staterooms per Membership.

Important Information About Membership Extras:

Membership Extras—such as exchange options in the Disney Collection and options offered through hotel exchange, certain discounts, offers and special events—are incidental benefits. These incidental benefits are subject to change or termination without notice, may require the payment of a fee and cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions. Membership Extras are also subject to availability and blockout dates may apply, including high periods of demand such as Christmas and New Year's Day. To receive any Membership Extras, purchasers must present a valid digital Disney Vacation Club Membership Card along with a corresponding valid photo ID.  Effective June 3, 2021, to obtain a Disney Vacation Club Membership Card, Members must accumulate a total of at least 150 Vacation Points purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, Inc.  Exchange options in the Disney Collection and options offered through hotel exchange are not available for ownership interests not purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, Inc. after March 21, 2011 and, effective April 4, 2016, Members who have not purchased an ownership interest directly from Disney Vacation Development, Inc. will not have access to Membership Extras.
