Come sail with us in luxury on Respite , our 42 foot sailing catamaran.

We will do everything we can to ensure you and your friends or your family have a spectacular water and wind experience.

We offer hourly, half-day, full-day, and sunset cruises and extended sailing packages from our base in New Bern, North Carolina. From New Bern, we can sail the Neuse River for a relaxing time on the water. We can pull into Upper Broad Creek or Goose Creek and drop the hook for some swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, or floating around. We offer brunch cruises, sunset/dinner cruises and overnighters. Join us for a relaxing day on the water and then dine at one of the many fine restaurants in New Bern. How about an extended trip to Ocracoake (the Caribbean of the Atlantic), Wilmington/Carolina Beach, historic Charleston, South Carolina? Feeling really adventurous? How about the Bahamas or the US Virgin Islands (depending on where we are from December through April)?

At Crystal Coast Boat Charters and Rentals, we strive to provide our customers with a hassle free day on the water.  We are committed to providing guests with unique experiences that are unparalleled to any other boat charter or rental company.  All custom tours include gas, and use of equipment such as beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys so that you can spend the day making memories with family and friends.   Even food and drinks can be ordered from local restaurants and waiting for you at the launch site. All you need to bring is a desire for fun in the sun.

Frequently Asked Questions

• How many people can the boat hold? We have boats ranging from 18 to 24 feet to accommodate most parties. The maximum crew allowed is 12 passengers. The largest boat will hold up to 12 passengers with a combination of adults and children under the age of 12.
• Where can I go? Rentals can spend the day cruising the waters of the Intracoastal Waterway and Bogue Sound from Channel Marker 27 to Hammock’s Beach area. We ask that you stay within marked channels. There are great beaches to find sharks’ teeth, sand dollars, and shells around Marker 45. A chart of the area can be found here.
• Is there a cancellation fee? Cancellation Policy: Boats In the event of inclement weather, we will try to reschedule for another date or postpone rental until the weather passes. If we cannot book you for another date we gladly refund your deposit immediately. Inclement weather is thunder/lightning, heavy rain, or high wind conditions. We do not cancel rentals based on a forecast! If we need to cancel due to weather conditions on the date of your cruise, we will try to move you to another day. If we are unable to reschedule your trip, we will refund your deposit. Weather conditions that warrant a reschedule/cancellation are thunder/lightning, high wind conditions, or heavy rain. The forecast quickly changes in our area, so we do not cancel or reschedule based on the forecast. Cancellations within 5 days of the rental date will be charged the deposit. Cancellations within 24 hours of a rental will be charged full price unless we can book the boat with another party, in which case you will forfeit the deposit. Beach Gear Beach gear cancellations need to be received 3 days prior to your rental date. Rental days are consecutive.
• What are the minimum requirements to rent a boat? The renter must be 25 years of age or older. The person driving the boat will need an approved boater's license or was born before January 1, 1988. We prefer the driver to have boating experience, but are willing to train people new to boating.
• Can I have a Captain drive my party around? Per USCG regulations, only parties of six or fewer passengers can have a Captain.

Kraig is fantastic. We rented on 6/28/2024. We were a group of 7 ladies. We departed and returned on time. The boat was as described. The location of marina is convenient and there is ample parking. Kraig was knowledgeable about the local area, and anchored us at an island beach. Kraig was kind and professional. We recommend his services and would rent again.

Our trip with Cpt. Thompson was everything we could’ve asked for! Not too familiar with the area, Cpt. Thompson was knowledgeable and super helpful taking us around each of the local islands, touring us around and telling us all about them. We island hopped and enjoyed ourselves with some awesome weather. He was super helpful and professional hopping between the islands and letting us all enjoy the bachelor trip we were down for - We even ran a little over time at no extra cost! Can’t recommend Cpt. Thompson enough - Great time! Will be booking again

Our group had the best time with Kraig! Kraig was very informative and helpful. His yacht is beautiful, and immaculately maintained. We enjoyed 6 wonderful hours on the water. Kraig even brought out water toys when we lowered anchor for a while. We will definitely re-book with Kraig on our next trip to the Wrightsville beach area.

Welcome to Bridgeton Harbor Marina

Situated on the upper Neuse River near New Bern NC lies Bridgeton Harbor Marina. A cozy Marina offering over 115 protected slips ranging from 30’ to over 80’ We can also accommodate vessels to 150 feet, contact our Dockmaster for more information. All slips feature floating docks, 50 amp electrical service, water, pumpouts and free WiFi. We have a ships store, clean restrooms, hot showers and laundry facilities.

We offer waste pump-out services. Our Club House offers beautiful views and a knowledgeable friendly staff. We also offer boat rentals.
