A luxury yacht charter on board 203'5 / 62m Custom motor yacht 'Sealion' is a totally unique vacation experience thanks to a huge variety of amenities and a well-appointed, functional layout. The superyacht was launched in 2009 by Viareggio SuperYachts and her interior styling comes from Candy & Candy. Her exteriors are by the esteemed Espen Oeino.

Blending glitz and glamour with form and functionality, Sealion is one of the most charter-friendly superyachts on the water today. Her multi-million dollar rebuild in 2023 has completely revolutionized her entire aesthetic so even the most discerning charterers will appreciate her glamor, sophistication and endless entertainment opportunities.

Exterior Design

Her two-level sundeck is the star of the show featuring a bar, Jacuzzi, sunpads and even mist options for optimal guest comfort. Her sky lounge deck includes alfresco dining and her main deck aft is another lovely space to enjoy time outdoors. Further aft, there is a rotating sunbed and a selection of loungers, altogether creating the ultimate setting for relaxing or socializing. As well as the sundeck, Sealion's aft decks offer plenty of spots dedicated to the alfresco lifestyle. The upper deck aft offers circular dining adjoined by a long stretch of sofa seating which is perfect for socialising in the evening. The lower deck is equipped with a more intimate seating arrangement that's great for a morning coffee, while the foredeck has a small, secluded sofa area where guests can indulge in some peace and serenity.

Interior Design

Each design element of SEALION's interior was carefully selected to create a unique atmosphere that exudes luxury, featuring elements like Macassar ebony, dark stained oak flooring and silvery-white silk carpet. There is an effortless balance of dark and light tones that give off contrasting warm and cool vibes. Her main salon and dining area are formal, with plenty of dedicated seating, while her sky lounge is a hub of entertainment, complete with a cinema room. The charter yacht's main deck is equipped with a gym for those wishing to maintain a routine while onboard.

Guest Accommodation

SEALION welcomes 12 guests in six beautifully-appointed cabins. Her master suite is situated on the main deck with a raised layout offering panoramic views, a walk-in closet and an en-suite with spa-like features, including a Jacuzzi tub. Her additional accommodations include a VIP suite on the main deck, two doubles and two convertible twins below.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained such as a gym with all the latest equipment to maintain your fitness routine. Retreat to the deck jacuzzi and soak up the scenery.

Sealion is built to comply to MCA and RINA standards. With a cruising speed of 15 knots, a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 4,000nm from her 158,743 litre fuel tanks, she is the perfect combination of performance and luxury.

M/Y SEALYON (ex Illusion, Lady Illusion) is the ISA yard’s fifth yacht in the luxury ISA 120 series as launched in mid 2007. This is hull number five of the highly successful composite ISA 120 series yet the yacht is essentially a custom built project as developed from a close cooperation between the shipyard, the owner’s family and architect Pietro Mingarelli. She offers spacious accommodation for a charter party, of up to 8, in four ensuited cabins.

Externally, at first sight, what differentiates SEALYON, from her sister ships, is the black stripe running the length of the hull encompassing the portholes along with the stainless steel strip at deck level.

Yacht SEALYON (ex Illusion, Lady Illusion) features a yin and yang, or dark and white, interior of darkened walnut. The wood work has been highlighted with Lalique inlays and stainless steel trim as well as beveled mirrors throughout. Whilst the external styling does not substantially alter the style of the ISA 120’ series, the interior of SEALYON is uncharacteristic of the range.

The yacht’s interior and joinery is almost black walnut with dominant highlights in Lalique inlays which have been integrated into the furniture and backlit as in the master and VIP cabin. She also features stainless steel trim, beveled mirrors and fine leather ceilings throughout dining and coffee tables are glass topped with mirrored bases which give them the appearance of being transparent.

SEALYON Specifications

Once aboard this luxury yacht it is also evident that the external deck arrangements and furniture are quite custom and unique. The layout on the fly bridge features a large black mosaic lined Spa Pool on the centre line fwd flanked by two generous sunbathing areas on each side, totally sheltered from any breeze (notably when cruising up to 35 knots).

The yacht also offers a bar and a large dining table for eight, a cocktail area and large sunbathing area right aft. All the furnishings have been finished in dark stained teak stained complemented by stainless steel trim and fine fabrics. The main aft deck is finished in the same style again with dining for eight or cocktails at the high low table.

Yacht Accommodation

Super yacht SEALYON can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 separate cabins. Her master stateroom is located on the main deck. The remaining VIP stateroom, which is equal in size to the master, a double and a twin stateroom with Pullman berth, are located on the lower deck.

Amenities and Extras

Luxury motor yacht SEALYON (ex Illusion, Lady Illusion) provides the following tender, toys and amenities: A 5m (16.4ft) Castoldi Jet Tender and 2 Yamaha GP1300 Jet Skis. She is also equipped with Water Skis and Wakeboard, snorkelling equipment, fishing equipment and ski bobs. Audio Visual Equipment and Deck Facilities include a Kaleidoscope DVD storage system with a good selection of DVDs, Ipod points in all communal areas and cabins, controllable through Crestron system. She has a powerful exterior stereo system and large screen (high definition) television screens. She has Sky TV. Her communication systems include V-Sat internet system available throughout via wifi, a Sat phone and a GSM phone.

The ‘Sealyon’ is a 202.76ft  /61.8-meter  custom motor yacht built in 2009 by Viareggio SuperYachts. The vessel was previously named Candyscape II, and her elegant interior is designed by Candy & Candy. Her stunning exterior styling is by Espen Oeino.

The interior layout of the Sealyon sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 rooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 16 crew members onboard.

The Sealyon is the world’s first segmented sun orrery chart, and has a two-tier master suite offering stunning views.

There are lots of unique features offered by the Sealyon including a split-level sundeck with rotating subbed, perfect for any sun worshipper. A 12-person Jacuzzi provides the perfect place to relax with friends and enjoy some much needed R&R.

The Sealyon is built to comply with both MCA and RINA standards, and has a cruising speed of 15 knots, a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 4,000nm from 158,743litre fuel tanks.

Entertainment is plentiful, and you’ll find a 103-inch movie screen in the media center. A gym with a range of exercise equipment can be found on board, and you’ll also benefit from air conditioning throughout to keep guests comfortable. Wi-Fi connection is also available.

The superyacht comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

A number of recreational toys are found on the Sealyon including 2 x Yamaha GP 1300 jet-skis, 2 x Seabobs, wake board, water-ski, doughnut, banana and snorkelling equipment.

Motor Yacht

Sealyon (ex: Candyscape II) saw the light as a VSY in-house project and embodies all the exclusive features which form the very cornerstone of the shipyard’s commercial mission in the yachting world. This was to conceive and create superior leisure crafts, each with a unique wow-factor - aimed at the discerning client rather than the crowd - and the shipyard’s only tools to engage such interest was in terms of innovative design, hi-technology and unquestionable quality.

Thus VSY’s first project took off in collaboration with Espen Øino and a timeless design which saw the happy blending of the traditional and the modern in restrained, elegant lines and simplicity tempered with rigour, all of which can be seen in her slim clean lines and volumes.

The hull is fitted with the best mechanical/electronic equipment available, including the possibility of joystick control and dynamic positioning. The yacht abounds in such hi-tech equipment in number and size, providing maximum efficiency at low acoustic levels and exceptional manoeuvrability which is clearly evident when moving in the most restricted spaces. A feature of particular note is undoubtedly that of her total respect for the environment. For this she achieved the RINA Green Plus certification and was the first yacht ever to receive this accolade.

SEALYON Yacht – Incredible $35 Million Superyacht

The SEALYON yacht is a 62.0m superyacht built by Viareggio Superyacht in 2009 at their Italian shipyard. She was originally named Candyscape II. 

She was originally built for British property developers, Nick and Christian Candy to replace their previous yacht, Candyscape. 

In 2011, she was sold by the Candys to British investor Anthony Lyons, who listed SEALYON for sale asking for 29,500,000 EUR. 

SEALYON Yacht Interior

The SEALYON yacht interior was penned by English design house Candy & Candy.

Her interiors are inspired by 1930s Hollywood glamour and feature contemporary classic styling. 

Some of the eccentric materials that can be found on the inside of the vessel include dark wood, rosewood, and metallic accents. 

Following the 30’s concept, the interiors are Art Deco styled giving Great Gatsby vibes. 

The main salon is decorated with a Schimmel piano and the owner’s special art collection. 

She can accommodate up to 10 guests across six luxury cabins, including the owner’s cabin, a VIP room, and four convertible guest cabins. She can also carry 16 crew members on board. 

The master suite is located on deck level and features panoramic views, as well as a private dressing room and an ensuite bathroom decorated in Grigio Carnico marble. 

The amenities this stunning yacht offers include a gym on deck, jacuzzi, treadmill, free weights, HDTV TV, iPod system, air-conditioning, and WIFI.

SEASON is also equipped with an exclusive variety of toys such as jet skis, seasons, wakeboard, waterski, banana, doughnut, and snorkeling equipment. 

SEALYON Yacht Exterior

The SEA LYON yacht features exterior design by Espen Øino International and naval architecture by Studio Ing. A. Arnaboldi. 

Her gorgeous white exterior is defined by clean and geometrical lines giving her a contemporary aesthetic. It is built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. 

The vessel has a modern stabilization system to help reduce the roll and side-to-side effect, making the cruising experience even more comfortable and safe.

She has a 23’ Castoldi tender and a U-shaped lounge for guests to enjoy the open air. 

SEALYON Yacht Specifications

The SEALYON yacht is powered by twin Caterpillar engines which give her a cruising speed of 15.0 knots with a range of 4,000 nautical miles. She can reach a maximum speed of 17 knots.

This superyacht has a beam of 11.02m, a draft of 3.2m, and a gross tonnage of 1,065. She has a fuel capacity of 141,000 liters and can carry up to 39,000 liters of water. 

The award-winning yacht is built to comply MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency) and RINA (Royal Institution of Naval Architects) specifications.

She won first prize at the World Superyacht International for Best Displacement Motor Yacht in 2010. 

Additionally, she is a PADI Certified Training Center and an Approved RYA Water Sports Centre.

She is currently sailing under the United Kingdom flag, she has an annual running cost that goes from $1 to $3 million. 

The SEALYON yacht is not listed for sale, but she’s available for charter.

Her weekly rates go from 325,000 to 375,000 EUR, depending on the season. Consider these prices don’t include expenses.

Sealyon (ex: candyscape ii) saw the light as a vsy in-house project and embodies all the exclusive features which form the very cornerstone of the shipyard’s commercial mission in the yachting world. this was to conceive and create superior leisure crafts, each with a unique wow-factor - aimed at the discerning client rather than the crowd - and the shipyard’s only tools to engage such interest was in terms of innovative design, hi-technology and unquestionable quality..

Thus VSY’s first project took off in collaboration with Espen Øino and a timeless design which saw the happy blending of the traditional and the modern in restrained, elegant lines and simplicity tempered with rigour, all of which can be seen in her slim clean lines and volumes.

The hull is fitted with the best mechanical/electronic equipment available, including the possibility of joystick control and dynamic positioning. The yacht abounds in such hi-tech equipment in number and size, providing maximum efficiency at low acoustic levels and exceptional manoeuvrability which is clearly evident when moving in the most restricted spaces. A feature of particular note is undoubtedly that of her total respect for the environment. For this she achieved the RINA Green Plus certification and was the first yacht ever to receive this accolade.

Peter Thompson at Worth Avenue Yachts tells me he and Michael Mahan have taken over the central listing on the 37m motor yacht Sealyon .

Built by ISA in 2007, Sealyon features a luxurious interior by Christiano Gatto accommodating eight guests in an on-deck master suite, VIP stateroom and two twin cabins. She offers outstanding deck spaces for relaxing and entertaining, and all her water toys are stored in enclosed garages.
