Some of the things I have been looking at specifically are: Beam: 15' is cheaper to haul out and keep in a slip than larger ones. I don't know where the line is drawn, I don't think there is a hard and fast number for this, so I have been aiming for 15'-16'. Ability to be sailed single handedly.

Verdict. vIt seems strange that the solid-wing (solid-deck) trimaran has taken so long to reappear in the mainstream. The success of the Neels, from the 43 up to the truly massive 65, suggests that the world has been ready for something like this for a while. Like a cruising catamaran, the Neel offers a lot room.

The deck/hull connections are glued, bolted, and laminated at strategic points. The bulkheads are glued to the hulls. The core is made of balsa, chosen over foam because of its resistance.
