1. Full Day Suluada Island Boat Trip

Nicknamed the Turkish Maldives, Suluada Island is a true paradise in the Mediterranean Ocean. The name ‘ Suluada ‘ translates to Watery Island in English, and it refers to the freshwater source that’s found on the island. However, it’s the beaches that bring people here.

The uninhabited island is surrounded by pristine, white sand beaches and crystal clear bays. There are plenty of snorkeling spots around the island where you can see lots of fish and marine life. You’ll sail past Love Cave and Love Beach, Cennet Bay, West Beach, and Fener Bay.

On this boat tour from Antalya, you start by driving to Adrasan, which takes around 1.5 hours. You will then board your boat, and sail around the stunning landscape as well as stop and swim or snorkel in the best spots.

You’ll also get to snorkel in the Hacivat Bay on the way home – this is a famous rock formation in Antalya and is named because it looks like a character from a Turkish play named Hacivat.

The final stop on your journey is the Alaca Water, a gorgeous inlet filled with coral, which is the perfect spot to do some snorkeling before returning home. The entire tour takes around 6-8 hours, so do plan for a full day.

3. Demre, Kekova Sunken City, and Myra Boat Trip

If you’d like to get off the beaten track on your boat tour, then consider a trip out to the small Turkish island of Kekova, which is just a short boat ride from the coastal town of Demre.

Here is where you can see the partly sunken ruins of the ancient town of Kekova, the most famous of which are the tombs that are partly submerged in the water.

Kekova was largely destroyed by an earthquake in the 2nd century but was rebuilt and used as a dockyard until it the Byzantine era. As soon as the Arabs invaded, it was abandoned.

Although the Turkish government has banned swimming around the ruins because of problems with looters, you can still rent kayaks and paddle close by or take a boat trip out to see them.

• Bring snacks. Every boat trip we’ve taken has usually included lunch, but lunch can sometimes be later in the day at around 2 pm. We prefer to eat a bit earlier, so took some snacks to keep us going.
• Bring a towel . You always need a towel, even if you don’t plan on swimming. Trust me!
• Pack flip-flops . If you’re planning on visiting any beaches or islands, flip-flops are a must!
• Get a dry bag for your camera gear. We’ve made this mistake before and came home with a soaking wet camera. Luckily a bag of rice later and our camera was fine. But the bag of rice trick isn’t fail-safe so do get a dry bag if you can.
• Don’t forget your swimsuit! This might seem obvious but we’ve seen it happen!

Aquanaut Sport Catamaran

Project Aquanaut is a 60 feet Open-Style sport catamaran designed by Officina Armare with a purpose, in collaboration with U-Boat Worx. Aquanaut is an advanced multihull luxury speeder, combining a sporty yet elegant appearance and modern solutions, featuring a large deck space, open bar and Al Fresco dining areas located on aft deck and foredeck. Catamaran is equipped with dynamic inboard propulsion of 2x800 hp to offer an impressive speed potential of up to 45 kts and extreme stability at high speeds with the contribution of it's Deep-V hydrodynamic design.

Concept of the Aquanaut is heavily influenced by SUV's (Sport Utility Vehicles) in terms of stability, versatility and sense of exploration or adventure besides having plenty of storage for the toys such as surfboards, Seabobs and diving gear besides the Nemo submersible. Nemo can dive to a depth of 330 feet and able to reach a top speed of three knots under water. it can operate for up to eight hours before returning to base.

The large platform on the back for the submarine is equipped with hydraulics that can lower down the underwater craft when launching is required. The same space can be used as a lounging / entertaining area when the submarine is in water and it can be lowered to water level and become the beach club as well.

With a spacious flybridge, alternative seating and sunbathing area on the foredeck and an innovatively designed aft cockpit and transom area which has been designed to create an informal ‘Beach Club’ feel there is also ample space to enjoy life on deck. A sizeable beam of 8.2m provides exceptionally generous accommodation, relaxation and entertainment areas throughout T-35.  Full height windows to port and starboard in the vast main cabin create a wonderful sense of space and light. Main deck saloon contains an excellent dining area with ample day-light. Guest cabins in the lower deck provides room for eight guests in two double cabins and two twin cabins. Project T-45 (148ft) is a three-deck, deep-sea, full displacement, transatlantic, steel hull and aluminum superstructure luxury explorer motor yacht, built for private use and charter. The 499 gross tonne yacht has large volumes and the shipyard has gone to great lengths to ensure she is extremely stable and seaworthy with low levels of noise and vibration yet extremely fuel efficient.

The main section of the lower deck houses the four guest cabins, two of which are VIP cabins each with a double bed and private bathroom, with the other two as twin cabins each with a private bathroom. The entire forward section is reserved for crew use, comprising comfortable cabins, again each with a private bathroom, and a large crew mess with entertainment systems and sufficient space even for cruises requiring a long stay on board. Going up, you return to the main deck where outside there is a sofa/sunbathing area to aft with small tables and a bar, which has visual contact with the interior salon through a large sliding door that allows the interior and exterior spaces to be combined into one.

The fully glazed dining area is located forward of the salon and has a table, seating 12 diners. The Owner’s suite is also on the main deck, occupying the full width of the hull and enjoying abundant natural light from the large side windows. I rented the yacht to celebrate our wedding anniversary with the sunset tour. I let the team know in advance that I was about to celebrate our special day and I even requested a chocolate cake. The yacht was amazing, we got VIP service and everything was properly arranged. The sunset was phenomenal, full of colours. Dinner was just delicious, drinks were amazing, and the chocolate cake was heavenly! I give 5 stars to the service. My wife was very happy! All I can say is that this private yacht tour is a must for couples. Try it and you won’t regret it!

Naval Yachts is specialised in custom boat building. All our boats are unique and can not be repated because every owner has his own dream on board.

The reasons of choosing aluminium as your hull material;

• Extremely easy to work with using regularly available tools such as carbide tipped saws and router bits and to fabricate with readily available welding and bending equipment.  CNC cutting with plasma, waterjet or laser works particularly well with aluminium which allows custom designs to be as affordably built as production boats with the dramatic savings in labour time and costs.
• On a like to like boat comparison aluminum boat hulls weigh about 30% less than steel and less weight means a more easily powered hull which pays us back in reduced fuel costs for the life of the boat.
• Our previous all steel sailboat taught us the valuable lesson that robustly built metal boats do not flex or move under the stress and strain of the seas and everything and everyone onboard benefits from boat parts that stay water tight because they don’t move and from the quiet of cabinetry that isn’t being flexed.
• eXtremely low exterior maintenance time and costs when left unpainted down to the waterline as we will do.  Left unpainted, bare aluminium quickly forms a hard outer layer of aluminium oxide which prevents any corrosion which will be a major cost savings throughout the life of the boat.
• Highest strength to weight ratio of any boat building material other than composites.
• Future modifications or repairs of damaged parts of the hull can be easily done with either onboard equipment if you know how to weld or by pretty much any welders you will find in any country.
• While steel may have higher puncture resistance in some situations, aluminium is the most pliable and ductile of any other boat material meaning that when (never if) we hit something the aluminium will bend but not break or crack.  By using gradually thicker aluminium hull plating from the 6mm we have on our decks to ultimately 16mm below the waterline and 25mm thick at the keel our hull will most likely see us through pretty much any scenario.
• Relatively easy to control corrosion or rot compared to steel, wood, fiberglass or composites.
• Aluminium is very “transparent” in terms of letting  you see any damage that does exist as there is nothing which hides below the surface of unpainted aluminium.
• It varies somewhat between different world markets but aluminium boats tend to have a higher resale value than other materials because of all the advantages above.
